What happened to the "nature of debt" thread?

    Looks like someone had a right moan about it. Which seems a bit sad really, as there was nothing offensive in it.

    but the OP [no prizes for guessing who] was basically making the same sorts of argument as this rather interesting opinion piece from spring 2007.

    in everyone's defence it's a very, very difficult topic, one that I wouldn't claim to pretend to understand particularly well myself.
