Alienware. Sit down with a stiff drink though. Prices start at £900 and go up to £2k and for that you don't get a monitor, mouse, keyboard or speakers included - just the tower.
Gaming isn't cheap.

Choosing a gaming pc can be a nightmare to be honest. It really depends what you are looking for and your budget. If you give us an idea of a maximum budget i can suggest some options. Alienware are stunning rigs ,but bang for buck there are far better value deals available elsewhere.0

This is just a fraction of the options available to you and may get you started on the road. Feel free to post any that you are considering and i am sure the folks on these forums will give you some helpful advice.0 -
Stay far away from Alienware. It's a complete rip-off! Gaming PCs can be as cheap as you like, and there's no need to ever spend more than £800. Go with the links that Qwiksilver suggested and pick one that meets your budget. I've had good results from scan.co.uk, although I've never bought a pre-built machine myself.0

whats your budget? this will dictate where/what to buyDrop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)0 -
ask him what he wants!!

Best to ask him what he wants/needs, costs between various component specs can be massive and different games ask for different specs. Personally i would be looking for minimum of 4gb ram, intel based motherboard/cpu and a solid state harddrive if budget streches to it, gfx card would be something reasonably current around the £100-150 mark.Norn Iron Club member No 3530

Diablo PC specs doesn't like it's very intensive.
If you ask me, you can build a decent gaming PC for around £500, not mega high refresh rates but suitable for gaming
In terms of pre-built, I'd say aim for around £600 budget, so suit your needs.Owner of andrewhope.co.uk, hate cars and love them

Thanks for all the replies I had a "chat" with him and the games he plays are not top spec games, so I am thinking about this pc? http://www.bigpockets.co.uk/product.php?nav=&product=RGOFF009&title=Bigpockets+Gaming+AMD+2.3+Ghz+Quad+Core+PCAnyone can cuddle but only the Welsh can cwtch
