Do you really think that will go straight to him?

Do you really think that will go straight to him?

it will go to his PA which in normal business the PAs usually get things done
  • My wife had problems with Asda on line in the last 2 weeks, I took up the cause for her, and after many phone calls to head office I got it sorted.
Sending an email to the chief ex will not help because as the Texranger says his PA gets it first. You have to phone Head Office in Leeds not the customer services number because that goes to a call center in South Africa, and they don't want to know or care. I threaded them with the media and legal action and they took notice.

    Good Luck

writing to a Chief Exec is effective - and is written and proven evidence of a complaint - phone calls are a weak way to deal with a complaint of a serious nature as call recordings are not always available.

It may be handled by a PA, but that PA is employed to specifically assist the Chief Exec and will be aware of the appropraite escalation process.
  • Some big companies have executive complaints teams that any email to the directors will get pushed in to. They are incredibly effective as work with the authority of the big cheese without wasting too much of his time!

I would be astounded if a company the size of ASDA saw that email go to single person. Chairman, CEO, PA.. Whoever. They will get so many emails from people with legitimate serious grievances right down to nutters who think their minor trivial complaint is the most hideous incident to have ever been experienced by a shaopper anywhere in the world ever.

It might get things done, it might have a standard signature on it, but a CEO's PA has far more important things to do than filter email complaints

If you write to him can you also ask him to put a stop to their silly marketing game where you have to shop with them, then go online and compare prices, then get a voucher for a discount. They're pushing this promotion hard when all I want is cheaper prices not silly gimmicks.

you don't HAVE to shop with them, shop elsewhere if it's bugging you that much
    helpful tips
    it's spelt d-e-f-i-n-i-t-e-l-y
there - 'in or at that place'
    their - 'owned by them'
    they're - 'they are'
it's bought not brought (i just bought my chicken a suit from that new shop for £6.34)

I love smartasses. The only problem with your advice, and it's not rocket science, is that all the supermarkets are using this marketing ploy.

If your a regular shopper at asda then the price guarantee is a bonus, im guessing your not a regular, i dont see a problem with it, id use the voucher or give it to someone who could use it.

Asda wont put a stop the marketing ploy as you put it.
