Wednesday 2nd November - What small DFW things will you be doing today?!

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free

Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending. :money:

So be proud of those small steps, they really are important. :D

Gooooood morning everyone....been a while since I got us started, but nice to be first for once;)
I don't start work til 11 today so I have time, which makes a change. I've been rushing about in the mornings so not allowing myself to post here when I should be getting ready:o
So....hope you're all well and cheery. It's a lovely blue skied day here so will be walking to work which is a nice start to the day, bit of fresh air and all that:rotfl:
Okies, time for my list:
  • check banking
  • check onepoll and mysurvey
  • make packed lunch for dd2 and I
  • meal from plan tonight - pork steaks, roast pots, yorkies and veg
  • take pork out of freezer to defrost
  • heating is off
  • parcel up ebay sales - post parcels on way to work
  • leave car at home:D
  • NSD - apart from ebay sales
  • list some more bits on ebay?
  • check grabbit board and update diary
  • lights off/unplug chargers etc when not used
Right, that's my lot for today.
Have a fab hump day everyone....rolling down to the weekend now:beer:
I really need to sort out a new signature!

    Hey all!

I've been missing from this thread for a while but at the moment my head is full to the brim with things I must do so needing to get back to the daily lists:

*Checked banking - Looks rubbish 1 day after payday :(
    *NSD
    *All meals from stores
*Zumba tonight, not done any fitness since last Tues and feeling really sluggish!
*Check out flying thread, house seems to be a mess and just can't keep on top of it.
*Be positive & smile, there are alot of people worse off than me, I should be gratefull for the life I have.

Thats all today folks. Happy Wednesday x

  • I went out for a coffee with my parents - they paid for it but I picked up 4 little pots of cream to save on milk when I got home. Am I mad?
