BT rounded call charges

I have just received my latest bill and there are a number of 21p calls itemised. I figured out this is where a call has been made and an answer phone has picked up at the other end without a message being left.
After much investigating on the BT website I figured out for a UK landline call (between 7am and 7pm) is quoted at 7.6p/min with a 12.5p setup fee. Which adds up to 20.1p.
However BT always round up so the call actually costs 21p. Sneeky way to add another 4% on every call.

Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0
