Something to look forward to

I really need something to look forward to.
I am divorced now, after 23 years married, but have also found myself with an empty nest and also caring for elderly parents.
Funds are low, and the people around me seem content to keep me there, it suits them, cooking, cleaning, caring, fussing.
I'm getting very resentful as my life has been taking care of others since age 21. 26 years!
I really fancy a singles cruise next year. I will have to save up, but could afford a deposit. Just don't know where to start. It would have to be a singles cabin, so obviously expensive, but would want the most cost effective way to do it as a taster, at the same time not too much of a budget thing like EasyCruise-lol.
And then I would also need help on how to dress up after a good few years of slobbing.
Fell like there's life in the old dog still, and, at 47, the world should be my oyster, very much more so than it was at 21!
Any advice?

The Norwegian Epic with NCL has Studio cabins for single people and is sailing out of Barcelona and Rome next year on 7 night cruises.

Also with NCL you don't have to dress up, although you could if you wanted to.
