Hi,
I've got a 4gb Xbox 360 slim. What is the best way of extending the hard drive? I've seen Xbox ones that clip in some where for about £60 for 250gb but is this the best way? Could I buy a cheaper portable drive and use this? I've got a 1tb portable drive but when I plugged it into the Xbox it said it would wipe the drive clean which was not an option.
Any advice will be appreciated. I don't play online if that makes a difference. Just play a few shoot em ups and the kids use the kinect.

If you have the older xbox, with 20gb or higher drive, that can be used, as connections are just sata. Drive will fit in without a caddy, but the caddy can be bought for about £20. Can use other 2.5" hard drive, but it involves a lot more. So best to buy the 250gb drive for £60 especially considering the price of hard drives at the moment.Mansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j0
