Hi all
My consultant psychiatrist has asked me to keep a day to day diary, something that I can email to him at the end of every week. I was wondering if there was any sort of secure online place to do this or maybe some software for free that I could download. I don't want to just use my email as other people have access to it. I have open office on my netbook but don't know if there is anyway of password protecting a file. I don't think anyone would go deliberatley snooping but others do use the netbook and if they came across an unprotected file who knows....
Would appreciate any help and recommendations of software as I daren't just download something incase I get a virus

I use Libreoffice, which is new name for OpenOffice. When you save a file there is a little box you tick for save with password, then ask's for password.
If it is a NHS doc, then chances of them having access to external sites may be slim, net security and all that.Mansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j0 -
Thanks Neil, I will try that now, I am quite comfortable with open office so it will probably be easier for me to use and also he will be able to access it as I was just thinking if it was special software he would need it too.0

You could open another email account.0 -
I don't know whether you have an Android phone... but there is a rather good app called Catch..
I use it for writing notes, voice memos, photos etc. and it is backed up online.
Perhaps not what you are looking for, or as good as the above suggestions, but I do treat it like an online diary which I can share if I wish.I shot a vein in my neck and coughed up a Quaalude.

if you have a hotmail account, then microsoft Web Office One Note (part of skydrive) will be the best for it, you can also use do it as an online word document if you want.0
