Distance/Evening Photography Course

Hi there
I am currently studying business at uni but am considering enrolling in some sort of part time or distance learning photography course...
Basically I have always had an interest in photography and am now at a stage I am considering I would maybe like to gain some sort of qualification such as a diploma or hnc so I could do some own free-lance stuff in my own time as well my current studies.
Just wondering if anyone has any info on funding for courses if you are already at uni?
And also if anyone has done any such courses and could recommend any tips or info.

I;ve just had an email from HP Learning which includes some photography courses which i think are free.
HP Learning center - Digital photographyLiverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
