Now... little bit of advice for you. All very cute on the sofa. That was what I thought with Sid... However, 6 months later, and he's taken to using my sofa as part of his route for the Wall of Death period that happens every day. It means that when he gets *that* look in his eye woe betide anyone who happens to be sitting on the sofa, because in his eyes they become part of the furniture...
Yes yes I can hear all you saying 'you should train your dog better' and so I should. But I have to say that it's gotta be one of the funniest sights around, a Spionone charging round like a mad thing, galloping over all and sundry on the sofa (including daughter's very large muscled boyfriend), whilst Oaks just looks at him, looks at me and signs like Victor Meldrew...:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
PS your pup is still lovely!!0 -

You're right, when he's big it could be seen as a problem, but to be honest it's one thing we're not too bothered about as long as he reciprocates with cuddles. You scratch my back.....:)0 -
Oh Zara does it with HER armchair... but in a different way... if anyone sits on it she will walk there and back with her ears sideways and VERY sad eyes, head down etc... there and back... to send whoever sat in HER chair on a major guilt trip and yes, I did have people giving up the armchair and moving to sofa (or floor) LOL
As Croatoan says.. you scratch my back... she gives me and everyone else so much joy and love... what is a sitting place to compare to that

Oh don't get me wrong... I agree with both of you. Mine is a really hard-wearing leather sofa, so easy to clean... I was just thinking of you trying to get all the mud off that lovely sofa when the in-laws are due to visit... :rotfl::rotfl:0
