OH in IVA
Hello
My boyfriend has asked in he can move in with me, now my only concern is he is in an IVA, due to all the debts from his first marriage. He is paying off all the debt they incurred during their marriage. Their living apart and going through a divorce when I met him.
If he moves in with me, will my income be taken into account in his payments to his IVA? The ex wife pays nothing to the debt or towards the the EMH (which is for sale at the moment). I live in my own home, which is nothing to do with my b/f.
I basically don't want my income to be taken into account to help pay off someone else debts, especially as the ex wife feels she should not pay a bean towards it.
Thank you

You could take the line that he is not "living with you" per se, but "house sharing". So, as far as his IVA is concerned you have no financial links whatsoever. After all, if he was sharing with his best mate the IP wouldn't be interested in what the mate earns or spends.0
