You are right, the "more" button isn't working.... also when checking on comparison sites atlantic dont even show up with me...
You are at least half-right there too.
TheEnergyShop (and I would expect other Consumer Focus accredited comprison websites) include Atlantic tariffs as your current tariff but when I checked no Atlantic tariffs were offerred as a new tariff. Suppliers are allowed to elect not to have their tariffs listed, and I assume that is the explanation for no listing.
Call me a cynic but what has Atlantic got to fear? Perhaps, like the parent company SSE, rarely near the top of the comparison?
Later edit:
Probably your tariff is a "deferred discount" tariff paid in the "13th month" so the most cost effective time to switch is just after you have earned the discount.been with atlantic for around a year or so now0 -
i know SSE (southern electric) and atlantic are the same company, as anyone actually switched from one to the other and carried on as normal (paying direct debit even if you have any debt with them)
or do u need to pay off the debt before the switch,
am around £40 quid in debt prob due to me not paying enough on direct debits which explains increase in payments,
just wondered if anyone as moved between the 2 and just carried on as normal or did they need to pay off the debt before the switch etc0 -

A "debit balance" is not "debt" if you are maintaining your regular monthly direct debit, and even if it was, £40 is not enough to result in a blocked transfer.
You cannot switch online between SSE brands.0
