Cancel Talktalk contract

I always use to be with nildram for my broadband and calls and paid BT my line rental.

Talktalk now own them and I took out a package with talktalk 4 months ago where I got 12 months half price line rental if I took out a 24 month contract. I was told that I would keep my existing call package which was 500 anytime mins which was free.

It now turns out that I've been getting charged £7.50 a month for the 500 anytime mins but also when I've made local or national calls I've also been charged for them.

Where do I stand with this? Can I turn round and cancel my talktalk contract and go with someone else?

Thanks

No you cannot cancel until you have given them a fair opportunity to put things right. You are entitled to be refunded everything you should not have been charged. Only if they refuse or fail to correct their errors would you then be entitled to cancel.

    Hi jonnypb,

Im aware that Nildram was taken over by TalkTalk Business. As the TT Business service is managed by a select department within TTG I would advise you refer to the contact details on your latest bill, to raise this query directly.
