Council Tax Cashback

Having read the article on council tax cashback I started to do some digging around. Having followed Martins 3 steps to checking house prices and values in 1991, it shows me that my house is in the incorrect band based on its value. However, when checking my neighbours house prices, we all appear to be in the same band. Do you think it's worth writing the VOA a letter, based on these facts?

if there were differing bands it might be worth it, the fact that everyone was in the same band probably reduces the chance of arguing the case. The Natiowinde HPI covers a very wide area to make it's valuation so it easily masks local differences at the time0
