burning dual layer discs

in Techie Stuff
hi folks
i am trying to burn a home movie onto a dual layer disc using pinacle studio 9
when i come to burn it doesnt seem to recognise thet i have a dual layer disc in, telling me i only have 131 mins
is there somethin simple i need to do (like download new drivers( or has any one got a clue)
ps its a sony dw-g120a drive

Have you tried downloading the latest firmware, have a look HERE
although dont upate anything unless you are sure you know how

Hey - what kind of disc are you trying to burn to? According to Pinnacle Support, Studio 9 doesn't support DVD-R DL media. :huh:0

Have you downloaded the latest fixes fo Pinnacle
9.3 fix for example (Supports dual-layer DVD-9 burners and media)
Have a look HEREI have nothing better to do!!!!0
