Capital One 5% Cashback Card

I recently read an article on MSE regarding the Capital One 5% Cashback Card which I am sure stated that if you applied before 13th October - which I did - you would also qualify for 0% on spending for a period of time. I cannot now find that detail and according to Capital One I have not got any interest free attached to the card which I have received. Can anyone help clarify this? Thanks.

Hi. Are you sure that you applied directly through the MSE webiste link at the time?
If you went via the standard link on the Capital one Website then you didn't get the 0% deal as the pages they load are ever so slightly different.

The link to the 0% page is (was) this one here.

I know because I "nearly" made the same mistake myself by trying to get some extra cashback on top of the 0% offer! :o

I noticed that the new link in the article no longer links to this page and now seems to have exchanged the 0% deal for an extra £10 cashback instead.
    • The rich buy assets.
    • The poor only have expenses.
    • The middle class buy liabilities they think are assets.
  • Thanks very much for the explanation - much appreciated. I needed to find this link so I can try to discuss with Capital One. I am absolutely certain I applied through the MSE link as wouldn't have gone out of the MSE pages to apply through Capital One's website directly. Wish me luck as I suspect they will try to get out of it!!:)
