iPhone 3 Refurb £29, then £20 pm 500 mins 5000 text 1GB data

I know the iPhone 4S is out now, but for those on a lower budget 3 with Uswitch are doing the 3gs on a very generous tariff.

It is for 2 years but does include a lot for your money.

Looks like a Uswitch exclusive so don't think there is any cashback opportunity.

Or you can get a brand new one direct from 3 for £20 pm but with 500mb rather than 1gb, and 100 mins rather than 500.

There is also £116.15 TCB available on this one

I-phones EAT data, so you can look forward to some very hefty data bills on those plans.

That's not quite correct. The deal does include the network services - calls, text and internet.

A SIM only deal at 3 with 3000 texts (less), 300 mins (less) 1GB is £15 pm = £360, so £149 for the phone.

Not bad if someone can't afford £40 pm for the latest iPhone?

Also, there are deals at £13.50 pm at O2 for the iPhone 3gs, but the tarriff is far worse (something like 100 mins, 100 texts 100mb). This seemed a good package in terms of content for the entry level iPhone, which still does most (but not all) of what the iPhone 4 does.

Horses for courses at the end of the day.

Can't you just turn data off, and use free wi-fi?

  • Wonder how much the 4 will cost when the 5 comes out in Feb 2012?
  • Hi
My husband is on 3, so I rang up and got the deal with 500 minutes, 2000 3 to 3 minutes and 5000 texts with 1GB data for £20.
Apparently I can use wifi at home and the 3 data when out and about so there is no chance I'll exceed my allowance.

Considering the upgrade offers made by T mobile, this is brilliant for me.
Reception is brilliant so no worries there.

I just need to learn how to use it!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Was this an iphone 4 or 3GS? I can't see it on their site.

Just to reassure people, I use my iPhone 3GS all the time while not at home, for emails (on push), surfing, google maps, geocaching and some games that need to go online and have never exceeded 500mb a month.

I was worried as I had unlimited data until my contract ran out a few weeks ago, but looked back at my usage and was surprised how little I use.

Just make sure you use wifi when at home.
