Flexible Savings Account paying good interest

I am looking for a regular svaings account. I understand that Lloyds have the top acccount at the moment, but I have to open a current account and really do not need another account!

Can anyone please help !!!

bunny - If you're looking for an account with flexibility, I'm not sure that a regular saver would be the right type of account to go for. Usually regular saving accounts are anything but flexible.

If you are going to need to make frequent withdrawals then I think an easy access savings account would be a better choice. Some good accounts are:

- IceSave paying 5.70%.
- Saffron BS paying 5.60% (w.e.f 1/2/07 for balances of £1,000+)
- Yorkshire Building Society Internet Saver 5.55% (w.e.f. 28/1/07)

If you won't be needing to make more than one withdrawal each account year, then consider the Yorkshire Building Society regular saver. From this Sunday it will be paying 7% interest.

- It allows you to deposit between £10 - £500 per month and the account continues until the balance reaches £20,000.
- You must make a payment in at least 11 months out of 12 in an account year.
- You must make no more than one part withdrawal to qualify for the 7% rate.

Also check what your bank is offering as they may have a good regular saver that you can apply for.
