Warm Home - Scottish Power

Thanks to the original OP had a link to SP criteria. Believed my friend would be eligble due to highest DLA benefit.

After 2 conversations he has been told he won t qualify as they are only going to give money to those in receipt of Guaranteed Pension Credit. (He gets only the savings credit) This is not true according to the above, what advice can anyone offer please.
It does appear to say that to be considered under their criteria, needs to receive an income based credit but clearly he does nt work.
Any suggestions really appreciated. He really needs this money if possible
