Offered a job then they changed there mind!!

Some years ago, my local Sainsbury's had a job advert asking for p-time staff and to enquire within. I asked what hours it would be for the same sort of reasons, I had a young family and my DH often worked away. I got told that they didn't work it like that. They interviewed you and then if you got the job they told you the hours.(which would be st days and times) I politely explained that UNLESS I knew what hours the job was I wouldn't know if I would be able to work them, so it might be pointless me being interviewed. They didn't seem to grasp what I was saying, so I didn't bother filling an application form in. Am interested to know what reply if any you get.0

I must admit that when I heard "complaint letter" I thought that you had blown it - well done though and good luck.0
