Theres a tiny glitch on the branston beans, buy three packs of 4 tins, B1G2F should be £2.55 but scanning at £2.

Thats 12 tins for £2! Less than 16p per tin which is the best price ive seen! I usually stack up when I see them at £1 for a four pack so this is brill!

Did you scan them of just no SEL/POS they might not have put them out yet, these offers are on the website. If they scanned at full price i'd have bought them and then gone for DTD if the store refuse (based on the website) then go to HO for DTD

    Are you from NI?

We often don't get the same deals as in other parts of GB!?!

I be over in my lunchbreak and will stock up on these if the offer is on- we just LOVE these beans- mind u never pay more than 25p/tin :D

Not everyone can afford to buy 12tins of beans in one go lidl is slightly dearer but still a affordable price.

You know, I do get that, I really do, but in this case I would have thought it would be manageable. You only have to find an extra £1..well okay £1.02 I suppose for Lidl, to increase your 4 tins to twelve. (With the glitch of course.) I'd have thought it would be an idea to maybe give something else a miss for a week if necessary rather than let the deal go altogether.:)

My local T's SEL was £2.00 per pack, however they scanned at £2.55.
I could have argued, but I think they would then have argued that the BOG2F worked despite not being promoted.

Goes to show that T's put prices up prior to the BOG2F's

  • Thanks OP must get some Branston beans, we love them!

For those near Home Bargains, Tilda long grain rice is usually 99p for 1kg.
