will they reduce my DD?
Options
just checked on my Scottish Power duel fuel account - to discover we are £840 in credit!! this is probably due to the fact that we are paying them £260 a month.... I think we had one month arrears and an underpayment which was why they set the DD so high; but obviously I dont want to carry on paying that amount if I dont have to.
I think we went on their Platinum something or other til Jan 2014 and seem to remember this means we cant switch suppliers - but presumably they will allow us to reduce the DD?
thanks in advance for any answers

Ring them and either ask for a refund of the credit via cheque or reduce yor ddsmake the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -

Recently switched from BG to EDF.
After 2 months, EDF wanted to up the payments by £20 a month to the same i was paying before. lol
I phoned and pointed out the error of their ways (bearing in mind i switched as they were quite a lot cheaper)
They agreed and put the dd straight back down.
Read about plenty of companies backing down if you phone and complain0
