Great offer, we went last week but only got 3 bottles, knew we should have waited
. You have to collect the wine on the way out from Dover. We were too late for breakfast and too early for fish and chips, it was available but it was too early for us. I have to say the fish looked good, nice golden batter and pretty big. Think it was £7.95 but a good deal on BOGOF.

I booked already for the 3rd December, never mind, should have waited. I paid £15 each way, but no free wine. The breakfasts they have on the ferries are pretty good (although can be amusing eating it when it's a bit rough but anyway). The Very Right Honourable Lady Tarry of the Alphabetty thread-I just love finding bargains and saving moneyI love to travel as much as I can when I canLife has a way to test you, it's how you deal with this that matters0

It's £29 for Saturdays, £24 for Fri and Sun Tarry, so only missed out on the wine and £1 I suppose, although we booked once for £9 not expecting any wine but the voucher was there when we checked in, so you might be lucky.0

Who knows Pompeyrich
It will be interesting to find out. £1 is just £1 difference, and I can't moan about what I paid anyway. Just a shame I missed the wine. We did the wine deal last year with po ferries and the wine was quite good, but I paid £20 each way than (that's when I had the force 9 ferry crossing (saw it was that on dover port website before I left and metoffice and it calmed to a force 8 on way back)

Been on a few rough 'uns, once the Seacat couldn't dock at Folkestone and had to divert to Dover, that was the worst. Reckon the Spirit boats should cope better, being that much heavier. Good luck with the wine, fingers crossed and all that.0

The ferry I took over on the 4th December 2010 couldn't dock, was watching it from the port, and it took the tugs a bit of effort to dock it. Not good about the seacat you where on, small "ferries", rough seas, not good!
Luckily it had no trouble the other end but was just a very rough crossing. Always on the Pride of Burgundy when I get a rough one, or the old Pride of Calais lol.
The Spirit ferries are large I agree. The Very Right Honourable Lady Tarry of the Alphabetty thread-I just love finding bargains and saving moneyI love to travel as much as I can when I canLife has a way to test you, it's how you deal with this that matters0 -
Sorry, didn't notice this post before, as I have started as similar thread. Would have expected it to be on the Grabbit board, where I think it would get more viewings.0
