I've sent to France without any problems.
If the item is worth less than £46, use standard airmail and get proof of postage - you'll be covered in the event of a loss.
Otherwise, get it International Signed For. France is one of the countries where the item IS tracked to the customer's door.0 -
I recently sent a t-shirt to france. Cost me £2.19. Sent it by Standard international packets. It's fine providing it doesn't get lost in the post!0

International signed for sticks £5 onto the price though if I remember correctly0 -
Thank you for the replies will get it weighed and let them know a cost0

And don't worry if the cost seems to be wrong - items weighing up to 100gm cost £1.58 1st class within the UK, and £1.49 to all EU countries. Most sizes of small airmail packet can be posted to EU destinations surprisingly cheaply.0
