Hi,
Saw a few posts so thought i'd put a warning out travel ryan air 5/6 times a year have been on 3 flights in the last couple of months and have noticed no problems really going out from stansted but got stung yesterday for 40 euros as my bag was over size..... i figure that they MUST be paying the baggage handlers / check in bonusus for everyone they catch out as in stockholm 2 weeks ago they were weighing every single bag before security and in valencia last night they were making every single person put their bag in the metal mesuring box.
so anyone who is few pounds or inches over it could cost 40 euros per bag !!! so be warned .....

So you fly with them quite regularly and still take the chance of getting away with an oversize bag, that is hardly being "stung" as you could have checked it in for less. I have used them from BHX 3 times and they have always checked every bag. Mind they said nothing about the pillow we were carryingThe common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0
