Im seeking some advice. If you had a catering trailer set up say on an Industrial Estate would you be allowed to have a delivery service as well as people picking up food?

depends on your local authority and the licence you have with them. you are better off calling them for this advice0 -
What do you mean "a delivery service as well"? As in you also use your vehicle for delivering parcels when not towing the trailer or that you allow people to use the van for parcels to be delivered to?0

Er I think the OP is asking if they can deliver ordered food although with the state the Royal mail is in this could be another option.:D0 -

Providing a delivery service in my mind means if there are 2 staff you are potentiality taking a member of staff away from the trailer leaving just one to cope during any sudden busy periods. The thing that puts me off from stopping at such places is a queue where there is only one member of staff.
I wonder if you don't already, why not offer a phone order service, and send a text or call the customer so say its ready for collection.0 -
Lots of young kids with peds looking for work, no different from the pizza places that do delivery.0

There would still be the same amount of staff at the trailer. I was thinking of getting someone in to deliver for a set price. Like £1.50 per delivery.0 -
Sounds a really good idea to me.0
