I have some mushroom tortellini and a pot of arrabiata sauce in my fridge. I'm not sure what meat is normally serve/combined with an arrabiata sauce or is it meant to be just plain in which case what protein is served with that type of meal. Thanks.

Just plain pasta. No protein, just a sprinkling of Parmesan0

I agree with Meer53 - I'd just serve the sauce over the pasta. Maybe a bit of garlic bread on the side if you wanted to make it more substantial.0

Not quite sure what this tastes like...don't shoot me, as I tend to make my own pasta sauces, but maybe you could use it as the sauce to go with pasta & meatballs?0

Thanks everyone. I know its nice to have it just with the pasta. I was wondering in terms of traditionally does it go well with a particular meat. For now then it will be pasta, sauce, parmesan and maybe a bit of garlic bread!0
