Adding batches of images to Powerpoint

Hi.

I'm trying to create a slideshow package with images from our short trip to Inverness. But as there are more than 60 images, I'd rather not add them in one by one. Thing is, I can't find a multi-select option or directory import option within PowerPoint 2003. does anyone know if this is possible? I just want to import a group fo photos into Powerpoint and have them come out one per slide.

Thanks.

XP can create a slide show from a collection without needing Powerpoint.

Haven't got it here so can't give instructions at the moment, but try Help.

Thanks, I have looked but I do not have that option. In face, I do not seem to have any shell integration with Powerpoint other than the usual file associations. I can make the directory into PDFs, scan it, shred it but not create slidshow - and I do remember the option you're talking about, i've seen it on another XP system but can't recall where it is.

    Thanks.

I had faced this challenge a few weeks ago, and found no ready solution. I subscribed to the thread in the hope that wiser ones would deliver...answer was there none.

Enter the monkeys, typewriter and Shakespeare approach.

    Open powerpoint
Insert - picture - new photo album
    Insert picture from: file/disk
search for folder containing images required, and double-click
    highlight all (CTRL-A)
    click insert
    click create

Seems to work in my version of pp (2002). Good luck.
