Water pearls. You soak them overnight in water, drain them off , then fill your vase with them.

They are like big cod liver oil capsules. That's what they reminded me of

That's what we're using in pale pink. You can buy them from online florist wholesalers or on Ebay really cheaply too.
  • I've just found some on Ebay for 99p :j thank you Roz

You can also get them in poundshops, I usually get them for my orchids at home.

I have only seen them in orange, purple and red in there, but I guess it will depend on what they get in.
  • I'll have a look next time im in town. Im looking for purple ones and seen some on eBay and you can get them in different amounts but not sure how much I'd need for about 10 small tall vases.

10g of "dry" makes 1 litre when soaked, so work out the capacity of your vases and how full you want them to be...

Mine are 10cm cube vases so capacity = 1 litre, I want them to be about 2/3 full and have 10 tables so need 75g (though I'm buying extra just to be on the safe side & to use elsewhere in the venue)
  • Thanks very much! These are the vases so quite small really with some beads and a single flower
