Making a printer wireless..

We have a KODAK ESP3250 which i would like to run from a different area than where the pc is..does anyone know if this is poss and how we go about doing?

If you have a router wit USB, you should just be able to plug it straight into that, same if both devices have an ethernet port.
However unless your drivers support operation this way, you may find that not all of the functions are available - eg ink levels or borderless printing.0 -

Thanks..doesn't that mean it still has to be near the pc though? if plugged into the router?

You can buy a "Wireless Print Server", but it may be cheaper to just buy a new printer with wireless capability built in.0

No - the router can be situated in one end of the house and the PC(s) at the other. The printer will probably attach to the router via a USB cable, however, which has a much shorter maximum cable length, so the printer and router will probably need to be in the same room.
If your router doesn't have a built-in print server, you can buy them separately (or get a wireless one if it you like). Alternatively, if you have a spare PC (even a very basic one) you can use that as a print server - just share the printer on your network and you can print from any of your PCs.0
