Hi, does anyone know a good place to get a set of decent car tyres at a good price. I only do about 4k a year so I am not looking at anything super dooper, any ideas?

your best place would be to use a local tyre centre (avoiding the likes of ATS and kwik !!!!!!) even if you only do about 4k per year, i would fit winter tyres, that way if you do have to venture out in snow or ice your car is equiped to handle these types of surfaces, and by your mileage youll get a few winters worth out of them. avoid the cheapest ditch finders you can buy also.

For 4k miles I'd go for all seasons such as Vredestein Quatrac 3, but to be honest, at 4K a year just buy from somewhere like blackcircles, and stay in the warmth in winter. What size tyres are they?
