Hi

I want to sell items on Ebay so i am going to create a paypal account and i will become Verified.
What i want to know is that when i sell an item and the buyer uses paypal to pay for it and logging into paypal shows payment complete does that mean i can send the item to them straight away with me knowing i have the funds no matter what. Also If paypal says Pending do i wait before sending the item.

I just need to know as i dont wanna send items out if payment doesnt go though alright.

What does the status of my received payments mean?

Below is a key to the status of payments received:

• Completed: The transaction was successful and the money was credited to your account
• Cleared: eCheque payment cleared the sender's account and was credited to your account
• Uncleared: eCheque payment has not yet cleared sender's account
• Unclaimed: You have not yet chosen to accept or refuse the payment

What does Pending status mean in My eBay or Selling Manager?

A PayPal purchase can appear as Pending in My eBay or Selling Manager for various reasons, including:

1. The buyer paid with an electronic cheque (the system will display Pending until the cheque clears - usually in about three working days)
2. A payment was sent with an unconfirmed address, and the seller needs to log in to PayPal to accept the payment

Once the payment is completed, the status in My eBay or Selling Manager is changed to a Paid status. If the payment fails, the status changes to show that the transaction is unpaid, and the buyer can send another payment.
