Hi Sorry if this is in the wrong place.
Im in the market for a new printer. Requirements:
Seperate colour / B cartridges, and if a colour runs out, I still want to be able to print in black/white rather than have to run up the road to get the colour before i can print again!
Cheap ink - I want to use refills (DIY at home with bottle/needle) if possible, or tescos own brand
Would like photocopy ability but tbh its not a great need.
As a student it will be used for lecture notes / essays etc so will be printing everyday, so cheap outlay and VERY cheap running costs is a must.
Thanks in advance

Most printers need all the inks to print as it stops the print heads drying out.
One option for refills here

I use tesco bulk cartridge refill kits with both and the printheads are removable for proper cleaning (3 drops thin bleach in half pint pure water). This gives very low running costs - but no scanning possible. They also both print on CD/DVD discs. good luck.0
