Car Vacuum

Hi...am looking to buy a car vacuum with a max budget of £40...

can anyone recommend a good one?

    Can't recommend a particular one but you WILL need a 240v one, the standard 12v car jack ones are like having a baby on a stick and asking it to suck up dust. 12v really doesn't give enough power

    We have to make do with the same vacuum that we use for cleaning the house. It sucks.

    just use the one you use for the house mate.. saves you £40 quid.. failing that just buy a cheap household vac.

    dedicated car vacs are generally crap.

  • i bought one on ebay for a tenner about 2 years ago. Its a 12v one, but has been perfect. :) I only wish the cord was a bit longer so i could hoover the boot

    you can get 2 / 3 / 4 way cig lighter adaptors that come on an extension cable.

    Cheap ones generally make a load of noise but are rubbish. You can get mains rechargeable ones which I think would be ok. Or a Dyson one of some description.
