Ebay Refund

Hi,
I was wondering where i stand, Basically I bought a pram from an Ebay shop and it broke after a few days of light use. The seller refused to communicate with me so I opened an EBAY case, they informed me that if I paid to return the item then they would issue a refund, So i returned the item at a cost of £40 sent them the tracking number etc... I have since recieved communication saying that i failed to give them the correct tracking details so they wont issue a refund!
I have check the details i supplied several times and it always shows as the item being collected from me and and signed for by the seller!
Im not sure what to do now as EBAY have closed the case and are now saying they will not issue any refund! I am now down around £350 and with new born twins i could really do with that money back!
Any suggestions?

Phone ebay- maybe you uploaded the tracking number incorrectly or maybe they are just being silly.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I have had a fair few email conversations with them and i have copied and pasted the tracking number 3 times now, and today they just closed the case and stated they would not be issuing a refund. Not sure what to do next, possibly the small claims court?0

I would not rely on email, talk to an ebay human and have the details to hand, I am sure you could sort his out - is the seller saying the pram has not arrived back?0

Have you tried going through Paypal instead of eBay?0

You can only do an ebay or a paypal claim, not both.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Don't email them, PHONE them.
(they put the very useless people on answering emails, so by phoning, usually you'll get someone useless rather than VERY useless!)
Just tell them on the phone that you returned the item as they requested, have tracking to show it's been delivered, but they have closed the case.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
Keep phoning if the first person doesn't sort it out.0

What does the tracking say? I know you say it say's signed for by the seller, but does it show as delivered/attempted or refused?0
