My dad has recently become very ill and i was looking to reduce my hours at work do i had a little more time to run him and my mum around. I currently do 17 and a quater hours at work but i was looking to reduce this to 15 and three quaters which would change me to a three full day week rather than five mornings. Would this drop under 16 hours affect my tax credit. It is a joint ckaim with my husband working full time. Thanks

I think the previous answers still apply https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3528793
Not sure if you currently get any help with childcare costs but this would stop as you both need to be working over 16 hours0 -
Yes, unless you get childcare this won't affect any elements of tax credits because it's your joint hours that count. If your OH is working 30+ hours then you're OK. But you won't get any childcare unless you're both working 16+ hours.
In fact you should get more as your income will presumably drop.0
