RHS Seed List

The RHS seed distribution mailing has come through :j- for anyone not famailiar this is a service for RHS members where they can grow from seeds collected at the Royal Horti Society gardens such as Wisley
There is a service charge of £12 these days but it is a unique opportunity to try some unusual varieties - I tend to request the more common varieties though as I don't have reliable propagation facilities and would rather go for something reliable than chance something exotic
I like the idea of getting my seed from a charitable organisation rather than a commercial supplier

RHS list is fine, but I can also recommend the Hardy Plant Society & which is also of charitable staus,if that's important to anyone. I think the same applies to the Cottage Garden Society, who also do a seed distribution.
I have had no dealings with the Cottage Garden Society, but I always found the Hardy Plant Society's seed list to be more exciting than that sent out by the RHS.
