Make paper pots with no tools!

There's a terrific version (also with drawings of instructions) that I've used for many years with great success - not to denigrate this version, just to offer another way of getting there. It uses staples to help it along, and they disappear into the soil very quickly, the pots last inside or out plenty long enough to bring along seedlings.

I would recommend you read this with a sheet of newspaper in your hands!

Just bumping this up again as I came to find it and it had made it's way down to page 6! Just follwed the instructions and in less than a few minutes had a cute little paper pot in front of me! If I can do it, anyone can, lol!0

Had a lovely afternoon yesterday, doing my bit for the planet and saving a bit of money by sitting in the sun making dozens of these. It's so easy to water the little plants too, you just sit them on a tray and water from underneath so the paper can soak it all up and transfer it to the roots. Fantastic!

This is a pretty cool idea, but I never good at origami! Im planning to make some pots out of some newspaper strips soaked in water around my existing pots to make some ones that will be suitable for planting out! It seems easier to me!
I do like the square ness though. very pretty!
