:rotfl::rotfl: 5 points for the correct country, bonus points for the correct city still up for grabs
:rotfl:At least it's better than Auld Reekie!:D
I can't stop thinking about a shopping trip through to Glasgow now. Sigh ... the shops are soooo much better through there - although I think Edinburgh's caught up a wee bit in the past few years.
I wish they'd hurry up & open the Pri*mark - supposed to be next month so not tooooo long to go!
We used to go through to the Buchanan Galleries at least once a month & it was fab (probably still is!) - it probably accounted for a fair bit of my debt come to think about it:rotfl:
I really must try go through next year!:)Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
2016 Sell: £125/£250
£1,000 Emergency Fund Challenge #78 £3.96 / £1,000Vet Fund: £410.93 / £1,000
Debt free & determined to stay that way!0 -

(((((((((((((((Big hugs)))))))))))) wannabehermit, so sorry to hear about your poor little piggy
Welcome back Kerri!!rising_from_the_ashes wrote: »:jI've been out on my own for the 1st time in 8 weeks!:D I'm almost delighted to say it's not a NSD for me!
Managed to get a pair of wellie type boots on - they were uncomfortable so going to have to hunt the wardrobe as I need something very wide & loose but with a very thick sole.
Also managed to use the car too!:D - clutch work wasn't great and I did get a bit stuck on a hill:o but not too bad for a 1st attempt.
Once out the village it was OK as no "clutching" required but I felt like a learner all over again and made it up to 40mph up the hill and felt like I was doing 100 mph:eek:. However, it gave Teeny a bit of a run which I'm sure did her good after lying so long.
I popped into the Co*op on the way back to get a refund (was overcharged last week when DM took me down) and picked up a couple of 4 pack of mini-choc bars for £1 each (I'm not a choc fiend but hate the thought of being stuck in the winter so these have gone into the emergency supply cupboard), some jammy dodgers which were BOGOF and a bottle of Diet Coke - unfortunately this wiped out my refund by about £2! Nevermind .....
Sorry:o I know I must sound a bit of a loon being so excited but it was just sooooooo good to get out the house by myself!
Not a loon at all!!! Glad you made it out & the trip went well!!!!

OK, fess up time (again!), pipersky is my sister and she got me a free coffee and scone today so I could save an NSD. I was feeling really pleased with myself (and her!) until I realised I hadn't bought the items I was getting DH using my Mr T double cc vouchers  so after putting those through I was over by £3  Anyway, suffice it to say, another spend day for me! But thank you to pipersky anyway!Be the change you want to see in the world - Gandhi

Are you Scottish then Kerri?
I'm not Beanie, my OH is, I'm a 'wee Sasanach' as I affectionatly get called :rotfl:
Rising - I did briefly pop into Buchanan Galleries, resisted Hollister and Jack Wills (which is just down between the galleries and Argyle street). Also had a mooch in the Superdry store down on Argyle street but restrained myself. :A Was trying to be good before Xmas and I still have stuff that i haven't worn yet (hence I couldn't justify a JW hoodie when I've got an A&F one still unworn) Was sad to see a little independant jewellary store I bought a gorgeous necklace in before had closed. That's the only downside about large shopping areas now, all the stores seem to be the same brands to a greater or lesser extent. Was nice to have a guilt free nosey about though, used the 'I'm on holiday, it doesn't count' mantra....whoops!
