Interesting! How do they make their money? On one page, they say no fees or commissions. On another page, they say a rep will advise you of the fees. I imagine the guarantee bit is thru insurance, which they probably pass on to you with a bit of markup for themselves.FREEDOM IS NOT FREE0

They say they will offer you a set amount for the year. They don't say that that is what they charge the tenant. They probably charge the tenant a lot more than they give the landlord.Quidco cashback paid out so far £745.89 :j0

We rent a property out through Northwood. We would usually get around £700 - £725 ish per month but as our rent is guaranteed we get £525. They dont however tend to vet the tenants so theyre not always great ones!0

:eek:Forget a free lunch, how about you pay Northwood for several lunches at Gordon Ramsay?
So you lose £2400 or more than 3 months rent and get crap tenants because the rent is guaranteed? I'd drop the rent they charge by £50 and get it let out quickly (seems like they do that anyway, you probably wouldn't need to drop) You'd be losing only 1/4 of the money that way.
That really is a ridiculous price to pay! I'd take the chance personally.
Would anybody like me to provide them with a guarateed rent service?Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
