ESA Appeal any advice

I had the appeal yesterday and like I thought I failed, lack of DRs evidence and no representative didn't help matters.I was getting Income Support at a reduced rate while waiting for appeal.Im getting a lot less because of deductions which I was paying when I was esa so I only get about £74 a fortnight after the deductions.
I'm due to get paid tomorrow really hope I do as I`ll have no food or electric.
They didn't tell me what I do next or anything,I suppose I`ll have to go the JCP and see what they say.(luckily its just at end of our street). Its a pity they isn't some sort of benefit you could get, which they know your ill and not ready to work yet but give you help gaining confidence and such, ease you into work and jobseeking as its a very daunting prospect for me at the moment.Id like to work again but I don't think I could manage a full time job at the moment, as Ive got zero confidence and people skills.:A :shocked: :A0 -
Im sorry you failed the appeal. I think if you are still unwell you put in another claim for esa and continue sending in sick notes and go through the whole process again (and again and again as ive heard). Ive got the exact same problems as you and would like to talk to you if you can send your email address?

You are wrong, the rules have changed to stop this merry go round and you can be made to have a medical before you recieve a penny.
With no medical proof you didnt have a chance of passing, you need to claim JSA as even following the wrongful advice quoted the same would just happen again.
Illegally obtaining drugs is never to answer and its illegal to have valium with obtaining them via a prescription to yourself as its a class C drug.0 -
Is it just me or does Lynella's post make her sound like a journalist?
RockGypsy, you have two choices now - you can claim JSA or you can claim ESA, but as mealone notes you will not receive an ESA payment until you pass the WCA. There is a third option of a further appeal, but as that needs to be on a point of law I doubt it would even be accepted.0
