Coming into Wales today towards the tolls in a 50mph zone, and a nifty parked Mobile camera van was pointing in my direction,a glance at the speedo showed i was doing just under 65mph i know they give 10% plus a 3mph for speedo in accuracy so was just wondering if anyone has been caught there and at what speed or got away with it and at what speed ?

I think this one has been mentioned many times at www.pepipoo.com. In your case you will have to wait to see if the NIP drops through your letterbox within 14 days of the alleged offence."You should know not to believe everything in media & polls by now !"

OP, if you do receive a NIP, make sure you save the envelope too, just in case it doesn't arrive in time, or there is evidence that it's not been posted first class.0

You'll be lucky if you see a 10% + 3mph leeway offered. This is Wales and more specifically The People's Republic of Gwent where the M4 and the Rogiet Toll Plaza (as it will be described on any NIP you receive) has long been employed as a revenue raiser. NIP's are frequently issued for 35mph these days and at somewhere approaching 65mph you are well within revenue-raising guidelines. My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0
