I am about to part ex my car for a new replacement.
been to 2 dealers and tehy have taken my keys and checked out my car etc. An internet broker who just asked for my reg number and details of any dents, scratches.
My car had a gearbox refurb done about 6mths ago - do i need to tell the dealers this?

If I were you I would put the car on ebay instead. You'll get 50-100% more than the px being offered.
Up to you what you tell them I guess - just give them all the receipts.0 -

dont really have the time to put this on ebay, just need a straight swap. 2 dealers have offered me reasonable part exchange offers for my car, but they only seem interested in the mileage, and bodywork condition and MOT. none have asked me if any major words been done.

No, if they ask its not something I would hide though. Should be a good thing not a problem0
