Welcome to the November positive steps challenge
Hello again to all who joined me before and of course to anyone interested in joining us this month!
For any Newbies to the thread:
I started this challenge in September so its pretty new but we have achieved a lot already
Joining MSE for me has changed my view of my debts and turned paying them off into a fun game rather than a huge uphill struggle - and i have met some good new friends as well.
If you are new to the challenge here is my intro info:
I decided to start this challenge as it is something that i find useful and i believe it could be used in many different ways - for example i am currently using it to try and increase my income and pay off my debts, however in the past i used the same principle to help me cope with my severe depression.....
Ok so these are the 'rules' of the challenge as i do it, however do feel free to modify them for yourself a little bit
The goal as i said is to increase my income and pay off my debts, so quite simply i attempt to take 10 positive steps a day to help me achieve this. As i personally need to stretch myself a bit for a challenge to be effective i also state that i have to do 10 UNIQUE things a day (that also means i don't get bored cos i'm a bit prone to that )
Some modifications could be doing 5 things a day, or even 1 if you feel you need to start slow. Or you could do 10 of the same things in a day but make each day have a unique theme ( I do like this one myself too!)
Last month we decided to include a
reward chart and that worked well for us so i am including it again this month! You earn 1
for each day that you reach your own target, when you get to 10
they change into
We also sometimes have little mini challenges along the way too
I hope you will join us, enjoy the challenge

Hi fairyclicks,
I'm a newbie wanting to join in
I think I'll aim for 5 steps a day, but each one will be related to a different area of my life. So every day I'll try and do one thing to pay off debts and save money, one thing to keep fit, one thing for my family etc. Does that make sense?
