First Utility tariffs
Hi all
I am trying to get quotes to switch away from First Utility as they are increasing their prices, but I'm finding it difficult to work out which is the best alternative deal via the switching websites linked to from MSE.
We use First Utility for electricity only (we don't have a gas supply to our flat) and according to my bill we are on their Smart Homes Variable v1.4 tariff. However, the switching websites don't have this tariff as an option so I'm not sure how to make sure we get the best deal.
I've tried ringing First Utility and they're closed on a Sunday.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Sophie

Hi sophiehb - Did a check on 'switchwithwhich' and sure enough, FU's "Smart homes variable v 1.4" tariff is not one of the four listed, but it is known that sometimes companies call the same tariff different things
Visit switchwithwhich and enter yourself as being on any of the four tariffs that are listed.
On the page that gives the annual cost of each company, press the 'Compare to current' icon, this brings up that companies tariff in fine detail, directly alongside the fine detail of the FU tariff you selected - Do this for all 4 of the tariffs that Which list for FU, till you bring up the one that has your tariff prices0
