First Direct debit cards fade quickly!

Does anyone else notice that the First Direct debit cards fade quickly! The silver first direct writing will go first, then the silver over the card numbers and as it's a black card, it's hard to see all of the information once faded, even though they are imprinted.

The numbers on my Natwest debit card, which I hardly use TBH for physical purchases or even for cash withdrawals have faded pretty badly.

The numbers are viewable and it's up for replacement in April and as I hardly use it, I'll continue with it rather than go through the hassle of a replacement card, which hardly ever seems to go smoothly for me.

I haven't found that with my FD cards, I've had them both around 8 months and they still both seem fine.

I suppose it depends on where you keep them.

It is happening to both my gold credit card and normal debit card from them. They were asking for feedback on some new designs for debit cards recently because people were complaining they were too similar to the credit card design.

One design was a Silver card, with black numbering (same design as the current one really with the silver and black reversed) and the other was black still but with First Direct going across the card rather than down it. Lots of people gave feedback about the numbers coming off the current cards easily, so hopefully they will listen.
