Insurance Claim

I won my case against Clydesdale bank for mis-sold PPI.
But they state because i made a claim on the insurance
they have deducted that money from the amount that they have awarded me. Is this correct or should i go to the FOS ?

yes that is correct, if they are putting you back into the position you would have been in had yo not taken the insurance then that involves a deduction of any benefit you receieved under said policy
