"Booking fees
Pay by debit card to avoid paying a booking fee.
Credit card payments will incur a flat fee of £10.00 per booking, regardless of the number of passengers on the booking.
PayPal payments will incur a flat fee of £5.00 per booking, regardless of the number of passengers on the booking."
BTW if you pay via paypal, you may not get S75 credit card protection.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -

Thanks for that, as l said l hadn't used it myself. Not sure how they can claim No Booking Fee if they charge you £50 -
Without actually getting to the point of booking we don't know which of the statements is correct but given the big splash they've made about no booking fee with PayPal I would suspect they haven't updated the other page.0

It is quite surprising that Paypal is free or at least cheaper than credit cards as PP's fees are at least as much as a CC.0

Does anyone have a definitive answer on paying for flights vis paypal and Section 75 protection? I can see the point that if the airline goes under, your actual transaction wasn't with them so would you be covered with your card provider. Or do PayPal offer protection?
Its much debated but never really seen an answer. I guess its one of those things that won't be tested until it happens.0 -

It gets mentioned a lot in the Ebay forum. In most cases you are not covered by Section 75 as there is a middleman between the bank and the vendor, in this case Paypal.0
