The new ebay "shopping basket" - anyone had problems?

I had a new ebayer (1 positive feedback) bid on an item that ended last weekend.
After 3 days without payment I sent an invoice.
2 Days later I sent them a message to chase up.
Yesterday they sent me a messae saying that they didn't want the item but couldn't figure out how to remove it from their shopping bag, along with other items (from other sellers I assume).
So it seems this buyer thought they were just storing the items (like on their watch list) but it shows up for me as a sold item.
I've raise a NPB but was wondering if anyone else has eperienced similar?
