long story which i will try to keep as short as possible.
in January of this i received notification of a parking fine that was apparently issued to me in Nov 2010. i had not been aware of this but the dates matched when i parked in that area.
i have mental health problems and sometimes struggle with stuff like this so stupidly didnt pay it straightaway.
then i got a letter from Philips saying that fine was now £120 and i emailed them to ask if i could pay £10 a month as at this time i was off work due to my mental health and i do not get sick pay only SSP. they asked for proof of my condition which i sent them and they still refused to accept £10 a month.
i went to my Mums for 2 weeks andd got home to find that the fine is now £320!! and they want £36 a week from me! i have paid £10 now andwill continue to do so every month but they are refusing to budge!
PLEASE HELP

More information is needed. Is it a Council or Private Parking ticket.?0

This smells of a real council one, if this is so then a trip to bailiffadviceonline.co.uk is definitely in order. There is usually a charge of about £10 but from what I have heard this is a good investment. Also put the same details onto pepipoo.com after registering. You will need copies of all sides of all paperwork you have had and be ready to post them on there, remove identifying features (name, vehicle reg, serial number but leave all dates and locations.
Best of luck.

By all means put on here but do please follow my advice above, Sheila from BAAonline is the bees knees with biliff problems. No one on here benefits from any fee charged.
Ps, if you do set up a payment scheme with bailiffs NEVER be late(including xmas and bank holidays), always early, with a payment or they instantly cancel the agreement and come after the full amount plus anything else they can include.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0
